Questions
When should I put winter tires on?
Once daytime temperatures stay below about 7°C, all-season tires harden and lose grip. In Barrie that is usually late October or November. Book early, as the first snowfall is our busiest week.
Do winter tires lower my insurance?
Ontario insurers are required to offer a discount to drivers who use winter tires. Ask your insurer how much it is for your policy.
What is the difference between on-rim and off-rim?
On-rim means your winter tires are already mounted on their own rims, so we just swap the wheels. Off-rim means the tires need to be taken off and mounted on your rims, then balanced.
